Wiper Fluid Container Removal

Does anyone have cuts/pictures/directions on how to remove the wiper fluid container in a 2002 ml500? My container leaks out all the fluid, at first I thought it was cracked, then I filled the tank with water and tried to spray fluid on my windshield...nothing. I can't see a disconnected hose anywhere, but who knows. also, I appear to have a loose wire on my left headlight and it would be alot easier to get in there without the tank in the way. Thanks.

Isn't there just 2 bolts holding it on?

RE: Wiper Fluid Container Removal

Is the second fastening point possibly a snap in on the inside fender well? I just checked mine and there is definitely something holding it in place below the fuse block area. Your only other options would be to either look at a new one and see what it looks like or remove the plastic cowling from inside your left front wheel (removing tire, of course). I think I'd just get a new one then you'll KNOW how it goes on!

Yeah, there is a snap but it's still stuck in there. I got the snap undone but I just don't know. I think I'll take a beer out there Saturday and see if I can't get it pulled out.
