wathey Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Sunroof wind deflector arm Does anyone know where I can find the wind deflector assembly? I bought an 03 ML500 and did not notice the deflector was not working. It is missing 1 arm and I guess there were two spring mechanisms that elevated it up. Any help on the key parts that make this work and where to find them would be appreciated. I can always call Brumos but fear that would lead to big$$. Also an easy one for long time owners... I cannot get the keys sync'd for remote entry, followed the instructions in the book, no luck. This has to be straight forward and I am just not getting it, any things I should keep in mind while following the manual? Or is there another approach entirely... Thanks, W

The weak point is two plastic clips that break. If you catch it early, you can replace the clip. If you don't notice it, the arm will catch, fold and break the arm when you close the sunroof. All I needed was a clip but I had to buy the whole assembly ($30 per clip I guess).
