ML Playing up again ....
Back from the land of the Arabs. Good to be Switzerland/Germany again .... although I might be off to UK (Manchester) soon for another project. Well my ML had a fitting welcome for me ..... 1. Squeaky Suspension, struts, or torsion bar, or whatever underneath ..... sounds terrible ... 2. Front driver window switch not working (goes down, but not up) 3. Passenger fron BiXENON bulb blown Looks like the list with grow in the next few weeks ..... PS: I pulled the switch apart and seemed to have partially fixed it ....maybe I need to look up rodney's trick? If I wiggle the switch it will work. That squeaky suspension is driving me mad!. I'll eventually need to crawl under the truck and do some diagnosis on it. Luckily the R230 (SL AMG) arrives tomorrow from Abu Dhabi. Had it shipped via Rotterdam to Basel in a container. (1'800 $US = UAE - NL, 1'350 CHF NL - CH) Only cost me 3'600 CHF import duty .... originally the swiss authorities wanted to nail me for 14'000 CHF duty.
