I don't have it on the ML for fear of fouling the MAF (still under warranty). But I have it on my 89 Z turbo and had it on my Pathfinder which I traded for my first ML in 2002. I clean the Z's approcimately every 2yrs and have not had any issues since about 1992 when it was installed - just the filter, not the filter charger system. Since about 1996, the Z became my primary driver and has steadily clocked near 2K/month of some exciting driving - highway 98% of the time. At 230K+ on the ODO, no major issues whatsoever, thank goodness.
