ride height adjustment

It seems that the front right side of my ml320 is a little lower than the left. I have searched and it seems that the adjusting bolt at the back end of the torsion bar needs to be turned clockwise to raise it. I cannot find any reference as to how many full turns might be needed to raise one inch. Any direction is appreciated.

Re: ride height adjustment

So how did you get on ?

Did you level the ML out.

I have a difference of nearly 2" from front to rear, and I know that's not right.
From the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender it's 18" front and 20" rear.

What's did yours measure before and after please so I can compare.

Careful, there could be something wrong with suspension components on that side - bad spring could cause what you describe, and to some extent, bad shocks may also be a problem. So, before you start twisting the torsion bars (BTW, the adjustment is not done using the rear nuts, you use the front adjusting bolts), make sure the problem is the torsion bar adjustment.
