Oh, the excruciating pain!

The ML hasn't left the garage in almost a month.

Don't worry, not because of any electrical or mechanical problems. Dad found a new daily driver and mom took over the minivan.

RE: Oh, the excruciating pain!

Then you need to sell it. Even my peeling Dodge truck gets driven more than that.

RE: Oh, the excruciating pain!

Selling the ML is out of the question! I can't believe you'd bring that up.

It's basically a weekend car now and we still need it for the winter.

Yamaha XVS65/A V-Star Classis. As the name suggests it's a v-twin and only 650cc. We recently added a windshield to help with the wind buffeting (definitely helpful on those cold mornings, stings the hell out of the eyes ). The windshield is huge, 18" tall and 32" wide at it's widest point. It's wide, but it comes out to about the brake fluid container thing and equally wide on the other side. The thing creates a lot of drag and even I can feel it in the back. It's only 650cc and now we've added a brick to the front. It's like moving from an ML500 to an ML430, not a huge loss, but noticeable.

Selling that one^^^.

That's an '84 Kawasaki ZN700. 700cc I-4. Despite being 20 years older and only 50cc bigger, compared to the Yamaha, it sounds and feels like an ML500 to an ML320. The thing revs to 10,500 RPMs.

I'm going to miss it.
