When changing a condenser (Radiator at the front),would you change the air drier as well (little can shaped thing at the side of the radiator) on a ML of course. All advise and experience on this would be gratefully received Paul

The little radiator (condenser) on front, I wouldn't change unless a leak is detected. When replacing your compressor, the dryer/condenser usually has trash from the old compressor in it. I would replace it. It's a necessity that you keep any and all residual trash out of your new compressor or it will get destroyed as well. Some companies will not warrant the compressor if you do not replace the dryer canister.

Well the old girl went in,and was repaired,I know it has been a few weeks but I thought I'd let things settle down before singing the garages praises. Independent dealer repaired the system for £450. New condenser and Air receiver (dryer) was required. I am quite happy,at least I get cool when the sun shines,If it ever does here in the UK
