rev limiter in park

I'm bored. Just wanted to let you know the rev limiter in park or neutral does work in my ML.

RE: rev limiter in park

Reving an engine under no load can't be good for the engine but thanks for the information. Does the "owner" know your doing this to their vehicle. I won’t tell you what I did to my parents cars when I was your age.

That's why the rev limiter is there in the first place, no?

They know everything I'm doing to the vehicle. They have to be there with me, of course!

Things that I did to my parents' car.. when i was 17, we had a '00 Hyundai Trajet MPV (not available in NA) and I almost rolled over in it once I was doing a turn at a not very high speed, 2 wheels were off the ground for quite a while, but fortunately its back on 4 instead of rolling over (I guess stability for that MPV wasn't very good - purchased new, lots of unresolved issues, sold it after less than a year of ownership with very high depreciation- we never looked into the brand anymore)

I tried the same maneuver with the ML, and it was fine, didn't even set off the ESP. (well duh!)
