Well one more problem...

Well today morning I noticed a puddle of coolant on my garage floor just below the pasenger side engine. Looking closely I see coolant dripping down from the passenger side wheel well...

I'm also having a high pitched squeal (not-ebox or idler guide pulley) when I pull in to the garage occasionally.
What could possibly be wrong. Not sure where to look/begin Please advise...

RE: Well one more problem...

It could be a number of things such as a leaking hose, bad water pump or cracked coolant reservoir. If the coolant drips on your belt, then that would cause the high pitched squealing you're talking about.

It was the leaking lower hose...replaced and now the leak has stopped. The squeal is almost gone but occasionaly I do hear it.
My question is has the damage to the belt already been done and do I go ahead and replace it or just wait and see if the squeal goes away by itself. thanks

RE: Well one more problem...

Well, it depends on how long the coolant has leaked on it. The belt is probably okay unless you see cracks in it.

The coolant leaked from the lower hose clamp area where it connects to the radiator. Since I have a noise encapsulation below the engine it collected there ans may have sprinkled on the belt. I still hear the squeal after a drive not during start ups though and am wondering if I should replace the belt next?
thanks
