| need help identifying wire..
I'm trying to fit a brake light flasher to my 3rd brakelight. The light seems to have 2 wires going to it - one brown and one orange.... anyone know which wire is the positive? thanks.. |

How about testing each to a ground with a DC voltage tester to find out which one is hot? You'll, of course, need to have brakes applied by someone while doing it. |

In German automobiles, brown is ALWAYS ground, like black in American autos. |
