I'll second what Dutch said about intake tube on the turbo charger. I had maintenance done on my ML 320 CDI and they didn't tighten it down enough.

I ended up with oil on the turbo charger and top of the engine. Didn't really hurt anything other than messed up the inside of the compartment with oil a bit.

I caught it myself when i changed the oil.

I also ended up with a broken hose clamp and went down to a parts store and got a generic one. So far it has worked. It just doesn't have a spot in it for the plastic tab on the intake tube. Just in case that is every an issue for you...

Bottom line is, if that seal is messed up like Dutch says, or isn't tightened down right, you are going to have either a messy engine compartment, or oil on the ground.
