My 270cdi (sprinter) runs nice up to about 70%. Then a sensor in the engine freaks out and the car shuts down. Ok so if less than 70% this never happens. What is that threshold for this motor, is there a way to reprogram thru star? it's not a question of whether the motor itself as a long block can run biodiesel 100%, its just whether or not it throws off certain sensors / proms anyone with this car have biodiesel experience??

If folks want to keep their US warranty in force - and I would imagine that most US ML320CDI's are still under warranty, they won't use anything more than B5. bmwm3csl Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | RE: 320cdi What's the real max biodiesel percentage? B100 is different than just using 100% straight veggie oil (SVO). B100 does not contain any amount of traditional diesel fuel like B5, B20, etc. B100 is indeed 100% veggie or animal oil but it has been processed in order for it to run in our vehicals without the need for modifications. This might help or confuse things for some... B5 = 95% traditional diesel fuel + 5% B100 B20 = 80% traditonal diesel fuel + 20% B100 B100 = 0% traditional diesel fuel + 100% B100
