Photo DIY- Rear Brake Service

Another Bread and Butter sort of Job.

Since my rears were a bit "thin" in spots, I opted to just tear everything apart.

Uuuuggg. The P.O. had the linings GLUED on, so I had to go to an 18 Wheeler Specialty shop where the literally BURN off the old ones.. Now, I have nice new Beral 7,8mm linings, which isn't "Optimal" for my Service Level 2 Drums (261mm diameters), but they are (apparently) the ONLY linings available.

Please check your brakes before driving the truck on the streets, after the job is done. Also, you probably need to adjust the parking brake afterwards, as well.
I got lucky, and didn't need to.

Anyhooo, Like all my posts, I claim ZERO expertise. I am following my Manuals as I interpret them. Do work at your own risk!! I am posting this more for "entertainment value" rather than as a suggestion to follow my steps.
