Any tips on connecting using Xentry

Hi,

Trying to do more work myself, I invested in the Xentry OBD2 system. Unfortunately after the first use, it never connects to the ECU's. Does anyone have any experience with this product? Their support is pretty much non-existant. If I knew, I would have never ordered it.

Re: Any tips on connecting using Xentry

I just started looking into this to work on my 2015 G63. Looks like I need the Xentry tablet w software and a multiplexer c5 to go... is there anything else I might need?

'Hopefully' the C5 system you are getting has a "DAS Simulation" mode, where you can, litterally Practice, as if you were working on your exact vehicle.
You can 'play' with the various sub-systems, all without the stress that you are going to mess something up.

Any luck finding a decent option?

I need to modify my G but dread going to the dealer with my list of needs. Assuming they don't want to, don't know how, and or will want to charge for each one, VS time with the tech.
