That's a very nice UNIMOG you've got there. Kudos to you for giving it a new lease on life.
A long breaker bar or a one inch air impact wrench should do the trick on the lug nuts. Remember to use antiseize and you won't run into that problem again.

I wish it was that easy ![]() So far we have snapped a 1" single-hex socket on a breaker bar (it was Snap-On so they replaced it). Then we snapped the new socket again after heating up the lug-nuts with an oxy and trying it. (Snap-On replaced that one as well..but with some strange looks) Its off to a Truck Tyre shop to see if their rattle guns will work, if not its a new set of studs and lugnuts, and we will have to cut them off. Hey Thanks for giving me the name of the Logo.. always wondered what it was called. We have a new project now..its a U1700 to restore..so stay tuned. | ||
