I Lube After EVERY Oil Change. Yes, overkill perhaps. But with what I have heard for the replacement costs of these puppies..... Better Safe than Sorry!! Be sure to THOROUGHLY clean the nipples before lubing. LATE ENTRY: The "Cone Adapter" for the Cone-Type fittings is available as follows (thanks to tj4tj4 for supplying the info): For the record, the needle point adapter required for lubrication is NAPA part number 715-1215. It costs about $5, call ahead and make sure they have it before you make the trip, I'm not sure demand is very high.
