"HOW many Temple Monkeys does it take to change a light bulb....????" Well, go ahead... laugh it up... Anyway, I had a Left Low Beam Lamp Warning.. even though there was "some" light being produced from the bulb, it wasn't sufficient. I thought I would show the how-to.. **PLEASE NOTE** This is for the following models: 463. 243/244/245/246/247/248/249/250/254/270/271/309/322/323/332/333 No "tricks" other than a WARNING about Removing and Re-Installing the Plastic Surround. There are Tabs/Guides running "Vertically" that hook behind the corresponding guides on the truck body. You will see when you do it. Anyway, enough being a "One Eye'd Jack" during night driving.. They are available here: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html Scroll down the page to find the H4's. As a side note to Patrick's DIY, on my pre-MBUSA G500 (WDB463.241), it is not necessary to remove the two PH2 screws at the bottom of the surround. Simply loosening them allows you to slide the surround up and off. Just be sure to position the ears/tabs on the bottom of the surround behind the large washers on those loosened screws when reassembling.

Thanks Dutch, I remember my '91 300GE had also real head light buckets as part of the front fenders - now it's just a gaping large hole there. Less metal - maybe that's the reason I'm getting a better gas mileage with the G-500 Karl
