| driver side interior door handle I replaced this last week. I didn't break any of the door skin pins ... which seems to be the trick. The following thread details how to remove the interior door skin effortlessly. This was the 3rd time an interior door handle broke ... partly b/c as of 2 months ago my G was parked in the winter tundra during winter months and the cheap plastic interior door handle would snap (the part that marries the hook the the exterior door handle to the interior door handle) and partly b/c I have 2 young boys that beat the shit out of the back seat. Needless to say the local dealership wanted to charge me $750 for the T&M. After talking to the fellas at clubwagen in NorCal (translation: Northern California) they sent me the part (for less than $125 2nd day delivery) and it took me less than 15min to install (thanks to the other DIY post). I have a feeling I will need to get good at taking the interior door skin off ... my window regulators sound "interesting." See attached pics and ping me if you have any questions.
