The proportions of the back of the car looks very odd. And the drivers door should really be sticking it's front edge out of the windshield at that angle and space. The more I look at it the more it resembles one of those Escher paintings. It looks normal but is physically impossible... (But as Dizzy Dean used to say: "There's a lot of room out there in Left Field!") It's almost like the side windows have been Photo Chopped in. Here's another example of using a simple Perspective Crop in PS. Same photo. (G500.jpg) (G500p.jpg) Attachments ---------------- G500.jpg (191KB - 10 downloads) G500p.jpg (236KB - 10 downloads)

Maxwell Smart Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: PHOTO DIY- EXTRACTION OIL CHANGE I think the front of the door is just hidden by the rain gutter but the height is definitely curious. I don't think its been p'shopped as the pixels look consistent as well as the background view through the windows. Also if you look at the windows (through the car) on the other side of the car, they too are definitely lower. And as Harald points out the rear vent is still in the right position. It would seem to me to be an awful lot of work to shorten the doors etc. Due to the angles of the frame, the window angles etc. Perhaps the roof has been raised - though it does look more like the windows on the side are too short.

KERR Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: PHOTO DIY- EXTRACTION OIL CHANGE On the oil topic i noticed at auto zone that Mobil 1 has a full synthetic 10-40 for engines over 70k miles now... Wonder if there is any benifit to running that? Who would have ever thought there would be like 20 differnt types of the same oil! Its almost impossiable to find the factory 0-40 here.

Last time I checked the Mobil website, all they made was 0-40. I would LOVE to have 10-40. I run 15-50 in all my vehicles, since it is so hot down here. The lastest sheet 329.9 is it? says "X" W-40 for AMG engines, so the 10-40 will work. Please let me know if you are 100% certain whay you saw. Thanx.

I don't care what MB says, I would never run a 0W oil in an engine in the South.

I think that truck used to belong to Brian F. in Brockville. When I examined it the roof seemed to be raised approx. 2in. Warren 450 227 8972
