PHOTO DIY- V-BELT TENSIONING WITH KRIKIT

Greets.

This post is to help CLAYTORR with his A/C V-Belt Tensioning question. Since mine needed some adjustment, I thought I would just documment the procedure.

One note at the end: Double check the tension after tightening the 19mm bolt.

That looks like an M110 engine, but the belt is nothing like any that were on mine.

You might mention that this only works on the old style V-belts, not the new serpentine type.

Re: PHOTO DIY- V-BELT TENSIONING WITH KRIKIT

JUST TO CLARIFY, THIS PROCEDURE IS FOR THE "OLD" STYLE V-BELTS, AND THIS EXAMPLE WAS ON A M110 ENGINE!! WITH A DIAVIA AIR CONDITIONER.

THIS IS NOT INTENDED FOR NEW SERPENTINE BELTS!!
