What's worth

Hello Moggers,

how much is a 1960 Mog "Funkkoffer", probably Bundeswehr worth?

Any good reason to get into it or not? Is a transplant with a 617a possible/feasible?

Please enlighten me......

RE: What's worth

Hallo Karl,

S 404 mit funkkoffer = Scheißehaus mit Scheißehaus aufbau

At least that's what my German buddies call it.

If it is already over here, in good condition and is less than $7,000, I would say it is a good deal.

You can swap in an OM617.  More info here:  http://www.mog404.com/html/verdieselung.html

These guys sell a kit and you use a 300GD clutch disc in the conversion.

Are you planning on building a "womo" or?

Take care,

Thanks Sean,

the beast is here in SoCal and the guy is asking $7500 - and I remember top speed = 50mph

Not having any storage space, I think I'll pass....
